Responsibility, adaptability, openness and comfort living with a Chinese host family are essential.
Prepare evidence, not just a profile.
Every candidate must be able to provide a valid no criminal record certificate and a valid health examination or medical clearance certificate. Yohoo also requests application materials, references and supporting documents as part of the formal review.
Documents must be accurate, current and supplied according to the checklist for your placement. Yohoo may ask follow-up questions where information needs clarification.
Eligibility is also about how you live with others.
A successful placement requires more than language ability. You will live in another family’s home, adjust to local routines and communicate across cultures. Candidates should be responsible, adaptable, open-minded and willing to discuss expectations honestly.
You must also be able to follow Yohoo’s program rules and the arrangements made in China. The formal review considers readiness for cultural exchange, family life and appropriate engagement with children.

What is the age limit for an au pair in China?+
